Having an initial planning application rejected on our Grade II listed cottage. I was advised by CADW and the Local Planning Authority to use a conservation architect with an understanding of the listed building consent process.

After discussions with Gareth outlining the issues we had with the planning and with the previous design, we pressed ahead with Gareth to come up with outline proposals and submit a listed building consent that would meet the requirements of CADW and the LPA. Gareth's designs and submission were approved along with a detailed building control submission that was also approved.

Thank you for all you help and expertise with the three projects you have completed for me. As you know I first contacted you with a requirement for planning permission to convert a building into flats. What you didn’t know at the time was my requirement for design and planning at another site and a set of plans at a third site.

Shortly into the first project I was impressed with your work ethic and had no hesitation asking you to work on the other two projects. Not only drawing up plans but organising a Structural Engineer Survey and Bat Survey saved me time and money.
